Owing in part to the integration of the Gore-Tex® Performance membrane, which provides high levels of climate comfort and protection against the coldest temperatures, these boots are conceived for motorcycle riders having to face long journeys in adverse weather conditions,the Groundtrax® sole features a specific compound and pattern for road use and rare off-road outings, to ensure stability and grip on different terrains and maximum walking comfort once off the motorcycle. This fit pretty darn perfectly for me. It felt secure and snug. Sizing was accurate as well. Easy to change out the shields, lightweight. Quality is superb. I had an Arai Regent X before, then tried the AGV K6 before Shoei & that felt too snug and not as safe. Also, X15 is DOT, ECE& Snell certified.

Sidi Adventure 2

It’s January in Wisconsin, I put these on and took the adventure bike out yesterday. I didn’t go off road yet, but I think these boot are going to work great. I have 45 years riding experience, 29 in the western deserts, mountains, woods, and MX. I’ve owned may pairs of boots. I went with these for some specific reasons: I’m size 14, two buckles instead of 4 or 5, vibrum sole and more flexibility for better feel of the shifter and break pedal plus a little walking, and they are definitely more comfortable than all my motocross boots. I’ve also owned all kinds of funky colors in the passed, and “brown” is where I want to be right now. Among all my boots, this is my third pair of SIDI’s. The other two pair were the best ever, but those were for more extreme riding and they held up great. These new boots probably won’t get punished to those extremes, but it does seem likely that I will enjoy these Sidi Adventure 2’s for a long time.
